Jelly Ham and Cheese does Dallas

SO thanks to my neighbor Chris….he has started me watching The Soprano’s and I am addicted….I started about 3 weeks ago and now I am obsessed with getting home and watching more and more episodes. I have dreamed about the mofia and I am now thinking like a mobster…You know what the sad part is……well I am watching this series about 10 years later than everyone else… I didnt watch it in the beginning bc sadly I didnt have HBO till I had already graduated from college. So YES I may be a few years late, but I am still watching it for the first time and I am LOVING it. I am on the last season!!! This past year I did watch the season finale with Judith and her almost hubby at his house and I watched it, but I had no clue what was going on, but really I have already forgotten what happend then, so maybe next week I will be finished with this show so that way I can get to my house, actually relax and not watch 3 -4 hours of The Soprano’s each night!!! and hopefully I will get to bed before 2 or 3 AM…how sad is that…but you better not make fun of me, bc I know people who know people who could have you clipped.

Ok So I have TIVO and I just got thru watching this seasons finale for Desperate Housewives….did anyone scream and say "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh" like I did…Does anyone even watch this show anymore…I need someone to discuss what just happened… I cant even call my mom bc it is 12:45 AM her time….Help me… I need to talk about the ending…

and here is a laugh of something I found in Switzerland…

so many people ask me "how do you like Texas?" and my answer is something on the lines of "I love it, but it really feels like I am still in GA, minus the mountains. I feel like I am in downtown Atlanta with Chattanooga, TN surrounding the downtown feel"

but sometimes I still miss my good ole state of Georgia, and today I had one of those moments while I was driving home. I saw the biggest white Ford Truck I had ever seen, and for those of you in GA you know that in GA we have big trucks. Well I just thought, look at that truck, and then as he was turning into his lane I noticed something….his license plate..and guess where he is from:

you guessed it: G-E-O-R-G-I-A……Yah!!!!

So as I was driving around in my new car, I overheard a radion station say that Hootie (Daruis) would be playing a free concert if you were to text in and you had a chance to win free tickets for a lunch time live concert. Well I texted in, and I got a call later to tell me that I had won and that 3 of my friends could come with me to the Dallas House of Blues, so Meredith and I went and had a great time. Hootie sang new songs bc he has a country cd coming out in September, and he also sang "it’s a family tradition" where a mamaw was the one who screamed out "to get laid" in the middle of the song..too funny!

So most of you know that I Love Love Love my car…..but in Dallas I have been tired of driving a stick shift…so Tuesday I bought this!

I love it! I love the convertible top, I have been driving all around Dallas with my hair blowing in the wind!!!

I would also like to add that if you ever road in my other VW then you knew it smelled like crayons..somehow I dont know, but it did..and this one does NOT smell like crayons..thanks Katie May Ha ha ha
