Job security?
So this story happened a few weeks ago as well and I am just now getting to it..Sorry..
So it was one night during the week and the kids and I were out by the pool. I didnt have my suit so I just sat in a chair watching them swim. We were waiting on supper to be ready to go inside and eat! So Caroline (again my 3 three old) she is a good swimmer, actually she is a great swimmer, I mean like a fish…or a mermaid as she would call it. She takes lessons and she can go and go and swim the whole length of the pool and float on her back and dive, and kinda use her arms to swim instead of just doggie paddling. Well that night she was practicing her diving, and the boys were just watching her, just like I was. Well she was going at it, and she had a big belly flop bc she didnt go into the water hands first. So when she got into the water she came up and took her breath of air like normal…and then she started to make this funny sound, and there I was watching her with my jeans/tee-shirt/ flip flops on….well I looked at her and I saw terror in her eyes…so next thing I know….(which I dont remember doing by the way)…I was in the water. I came to her rescue and saved her from NOT drowning. The parents could see me go into the pool from where they were sitting inside the house, they ran outside to make sure she was ok. and she was bc she was laughing but then she cried bc I told her how scared I had been. So we all went into the house and I had to wear my boss’ clothes home. The parents said "I am just glad that you went in even in your clothes."
I told my neighbor that and he said "well at least you know you have job security". I told the parents that "I have heard that when a lifeguard saves a life, he gets a raise". wink wink…
and also that next day I got a new/used blackberry cell phone…so my mom says "wow save a child and get a new/used cell phone?"

This now makes you … “Hero” Jelly Ann Ham and Cheese!! Get it… “Hero”… like a Hero Sandwich!!! Sorry, just my crazy since of humor! ryan
