Old School pics
April Baker Welch sent me an email with some pics she had found at her mom’s house. These were taken sometime during circa of 1999 maybe…Well let’s just say I think we have all changed for the better.
This first pic was taken when April and I went to go see Katie at her first apartment "University Commons" in Athens. We got all dressed up for the game, as you can see in our red attire. Notice April’s belly shirt, and she isnt one to just show off her belly, and also notice her black nail polish that I used to bother her about..she wore it before it was cool in Hollywood, I am glad that Matt told her she couldnt wear it for their wedding…Ha Ha Ha…this was also taken during my "violet eyeshadow" days..what was I thinking…?
This next pic was one of many pictures from that day. She only had one to scan, but I have the others at home. First of all let me tell you that we all looked like we planned on wearing such Eastery colors, but that just happened…and second of all, we took the only GA students are allowed bus into Athens (well April and I pretended to be students that day) and we rode and got off at random spots. we had such a great time. I remember one pic of us behind bars, so Katie and I pretended to be sad bc we were in jail pic, another one was from a science lab I am guessing that had these signs that said "caution Asbestos", and the look on April’s face is priceless, and then there was the fire hydrant pic, where I was so embarrassed bc some random man took our pic, and April and Katie were pretending to pee like a dog while I held my nose bc of the imaginary smell…But this pic is from when we climbed this tree and Katie was trying to get her timer to work out perfect…needless to say…it didnt…but we had a great time…Oh what fun college memories…and sadly that weekend was when Aprils’ cd collection got stolen from my car we think….let’s share a moment of silence for those…..

Gilly ANN, look at your and your fun blog! I must say I was surprised when I first skimmed it and saw your references to, “my three year old”. I couldn’t figure out how you had gotten yourself a child that was three when I know you didn’t have one three years ago! But I read more carefully and got caught up!
These pictures are funny. Glad life is so much fun for you–sounds like you are doing really well!

That is too funny that you remembered/noticed the other things I didn’t say in my email. 1. The belly shirt…you’re right…I never ever show my stomach and I was surprised that it was showing and I was acting like it didn’t bother me, but I am sure I probably scrutinized that picture to death to see if there was a love handle hanging out back then. 2. The black nail polish. I really liked it…I must be a trendsetter
and 3. That I lost my CD collection. I was really upset and have no idea where it could have been lost or stolen. However, whoever got it was probably quite disappointed in my “collection” that gave me some satisfaction.
