Here are a few more things that I just remembered about my "Sweet Caroline" and things that I thought you would enjoy!

1. When my mom came to visit I was telling Caroline that I needed to leave work so I could go and see my mom bc she was staying at my house, and C said "You didnt tell me you had a mother?"…and she was serious.

2. C’s grandmother had two dogs, one names Elvis and one Priscilla. Well Priscilla ran away, but they still have Elvis. Well one day Meredith said they were talking about "Elivis Presley" and they were discussing his songs and stuf and and then C said "No one told me that Elvis could talk?" obv she thought they were talking about the dog and she was totally shocked that no one told her.

3. Meredith lives right down the road from where we work, so she had to take C to her house to get something she left there. Well C walked in and the first thing she said was, "This is all of it?" (ok mind you we have small apartments and C is used to seeing a big house) then she took a look around and then Mere said C said "where does your mom and dad’s room?" Mere said that C could not believe that you do not live with your mom and dad for the rest of your lives…she was very much so taken back by that comment.

4. From the day I have met C, I have been singing "Sweet Caroline….bum bum bum" since I have met her. Now she knows the words and she sings along. Well I didnt think she had probably ever heard the real version, so we found it on Youtube and it started playing Neil Diamond singing the first verse, and then when it broke out into the chorus and started singing "Sweet Caroline…bum bum bum…" C says…"well I didnt see THAT coming?" too funny, now she likes us to play it all the time!

5. Also C doesnt say all of certain words, she has made up her own personal vocabulary, but we have sorta figured it out and it is so cute. Here are some examples with the def.

By popular request I thought I would share some Caroline stories…This little girl is the funniest thing and she just makes my day (when she is having a good day) but here are a few good C stories…

1. The family and I went out to eat at a neat restuarant in the arts district here in Dallas. C was sitting by me and she was behaving very well. Hince we are in the arts district, and if Mere and I were to have dinner together, we would fit in just like everyone else around us in a "couple" sort of way…so say it ever so nicely. So the story continues…our waitress was a very….very….very BUTCH lady. She had a very short haircut, just like a man’s. So during dinner everything was going great. Then C dropped her flip flop on the ground, so our waitress helped her and picked it up. After our waitress left, C said "wow that was a very sweet man"…. So I had to tell her, no C that is a girl…she went by saying (very loudly mind you) "Gilly I promise I know girls and that is a girl", I told her no it wasnt…she said "Gilly she looks like a boy, she even talks like a boy, where is her hair?…she is a boy"…I then told her that some girls have short hair because they do not like ponytails so she likes to keep her hair short. C didnt buy this. I think the fam and I were about to die. Just as soon as we thought that C was over it at this point, the server comes back…C then says, "well what is that boys name?" so I asked and I think her name was Jennifer, so I told C and then she said, "well I guess that is a weird looking girl because I think that Jennifer is a girl name and it would be silly if a boy had that name"….after that C was fine with it…

2. Usually when I get to work, Mere has already called me to fill me in on what has happened during the day and has already told me about the kids behavior and such. So one morning the middle child was being terrible…I mean he was causing such a fit and everyone knew it. When I got to work this is what C said, "Gilly I have been good today, but Nance is kinda having a bad day, did you heared?"(this word rhymes with feared by the way).. I told her "yes I have already heard" and she said "arent you so proud it was not me being bad?"…I told her yes of course I was.

3. Today I was at work and C was playing and she came around the corner and was kinda whining, she said "Gilly I hurt myself, but I am not crying, because big girls dont cry, that’s what the song says…that is my song". and then she goes to sing "big girls dont cry" (the ferg version….)

So tonight I went to dinner with my friend Chris and we went to Greenville Bar and Grill and guess who walks into the room…Steve Holy…well I am sure you are asking…who is steve holy…I asked the same question…Then I went over to the digital jukebox to look up his name..and there is was "steve holy" singing "good morning beautiful" , and "I got a brand new girlfriend"…so I played his songs…still not thinking that was him…so later… I asked him…" did I just pay you?" he said why? I said are you getting royalties bc I played your song…he said "that isnt me". I said ok…then I came home and I googled him and guess what…that was him…so I am hoping he just got paid for my jukebox $$$….ha ha..

tonight at work, I was giving Caroline a bath. I was wearing two tank tops and I was not wearing a bra, (I am only telling you this personal info bc it goes along with my story)….so as I was snuggling with C after her bath, and so was looking at my necklace and then she was looking at my tank tops….she then asks me…"Gelly why are you not wearing a boobie trap?"…

I laughed and I remembered that C calls bra’s boobie traps…where does a 3 year old get the things she says?…I dont know but I have a great time laughing….I hope you do as well…
